Role: Script, Direction & Design, Storyboard Platforms: Youtube, Vimeo, Facebook New York Times - Modern Love Concept, design and animation for an episode of New York Times’ ongoing Modern Love series that tells the intimate story of an encounter whilst camping. The goal was to distill the dialogue into the simplest visual form to allow the audience to feel, rather than just see the story. Most of the animation was built and edited in 3D, before being painted over frame-by-frame. Role: Concept, Design, Direction, Animation Platforms: Web, Broadcast PressPausePlay "A film about hope, fear and digital culture" I created the animated content for the PressPausePlay documentary. The animations are intended to communicate facts relating to food in an amusing and lighthearted fashion. Role: Art, Animation Direction, Storyboard Platforms: Broadcast BBC - Etiquette of Queuing I was commissioned to create a short film for the relaunch of the BBC's "Just A Minute" comedy sketch show. Role: Art, Direction, Animation, Storyboard Platforms: Broadcast MTV - The Stew Series of animated bumpers created for 'The Stew' show on MTV. Characters were built and animated in Maya then rotoscoped in Photoshop. Role: Art, Direction, Animation, Storyboard Platforms: Broadcast Orange - Mr Orange Commercials Mr Orange was a character created for a series of 3 commercials that demonstrated the day-to-day impact Orange’s next generation digital services could have on our eponymous hero.
